The whole wheat flour used in this preparation gives the piquitos greater cereal flavor intensity since we use whole grain wheat with all of the bran than other flours discard which adds greater fiber and flavor proportion.
It goes along with intensely flavored dishes such as salad of roasted peppers, red meat with dark sauces, etc.
